Police were called to the house of Jenna Jameson and UFC fighter Tito Ortiz because of a domestic disturbance at 9:53am yesterday morning. The police left the premises just before noon with Tito Ortiz in handcuffs. Jameson says she’ll press charges. Tito was released on bail yesterday afternoon, but this likely spells the end of Tito Ortiz’s UFC career.
Dana White told TMZ, “We’re gonna be fair, but we could cut him.” Ortiz could be facing three years in jail as he previously faced jail time for battery in 1998. He alleges that Jameson is hooked on oxy, and that’s what is behind the altercation.
This is the cherry on top of Tito Ortiz’s fall from grace. Things have been going downhill for a while despite starting a family with Jameson. He’s gone 0-3-1 in his last four fights. He hasn’t beaten anyone won a fight since 2006, he had a contract dispute in the middle of that skid and had a public feud with Dana White. Ortiz is a coach on this season of The Ultimate Fighter, but at some point later in the season he’s going to leave the show. This was confirmed when it was announced that Rich Franklin would fight Chuck Liddell in the end of season fight that takes place between the coaches.
After Tito was taken away, one of the TMZ cameramen got this heartbreaking video of Jenna, presumably on her way to the police station or hospital.
According to TMZ, Jameson has torn ligaments in her arm and wants to work things out with Tito. Also, she can’t see Ortiz for a month, probably because of the restraining order she was talking about. I doubt the court order could keep her from watching The Ultimate Fighter though.
