Two challenges per game. Can’t be used on balls and strikes. MLB gets a guy in the booth to assist the umps and expedite any reviews. Set up some kind of replay booth on the 1st or 3rd base line (near the army of cameramen?) and once the challenge flag is thrown, give the umps a 3-4 minute time limit to make a decision. Usually, after 3-4 replays, the answer is usually clear. Too bad we have more confidence in an 8 or 16-team college football playoff happening before clueless, inept Bud Selig does something about instant replay. [Tribune, Buster Olney, Sun-Sentinel]
