NBA Draft Rumors: The Blazers reportedly turned down an offer of the No. 4 pick for small forward Nicolas Batum. Is Portland that high on the 21-year-old? The Timberwolves and Grizzlies are contemplating a Zach Randolph-for-Al Jefferson swap. This accomplishes virtually nothing, as Randolph would still butt heads with Kevin Love at power forward. Kentucky center Daniel Orton, thought to be a project – but still worthy of the lottery – could slide out of the first round. Lastly, three things that don’t really impact the draft: 1) Phil Jackson is leaning toward retirement, 2) Jalen Rose has sources (who knew?) that claim LeBron isn’t coming back to Cleveland, and the best player in the league will go to Miami, Chicago, or the Clippers, and 3) Mo Williams is literally begging Cleveland not to trade him. [UPDATE: Oklahoma City gets Daequan Cook & No. 18 pick from Miami in exchange for the No. 32 pick. Cook was a salary dump.]
