Colin Montgomerie: The Scottish golfer is embroiled in a sex scandal that threatens to rock the PGA Championship this weekend and perhaps even the Ryder Cup! Montgomerie, 47, allegedly cheated on his millionairess wife earlier this year according to the Arizona Republic. Monty confirmed that, saying it has put “considerable strain on his marriage.” (Here’s a photo of the other woman, Joanne Baldwin.) Independent of that mess, Montgomerie (who knew he was such a ladies’ man?) won an injunction “in the British courts to prevent his ex-girlfriend from revealing details about their relationship.” That ex-girlfriend is former model Paula Tagg (sorry, couldn’t find a photo). In case you care, Monty tees off at 1:35 today. [Arizona Republic, Golf.com]
