The Jonas Brothers, along with their bandmates and roadies, played a bunch of ESPN commentators called the G.O.A.T.S. in a charity softball game on Friday afternoon, hilariously winning 3-0. The ESPN personalities in the lineup that you’d recognize were Matthew Berry, the riveting Mike Greenberg, the rumored-to-be-horny Erik Kuselias, Michelle Beadle, former All-Pro defensive end Marcellus Wiley, and former MLB player Eduardo Perez.
All of this softball “madness” was apparently started by Berry, who put forward the challenge on his podcast and has been talking smack for months. I’m proud to say that today is the first I’ve learned of this boiling beef.
Anyway, with two former pro athletes in their lineup, it’s pretty embarrassing ESPN lost to a team headed by Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas. However, it’s even more shocking that they were shut out. Shouldn’t Perez and Wiley be going deep in every at-bat? Pathetic.
Those two, along with the rest of the crew can now proudly add “shut out by boy band member Kevin Jonas for seven innings, and some other dude for two,” to their respective resumes.
