In this matchup, the Jets will be without the Darrelle Revis, so the Dolphins will have the opportunity to challenge Kyle Wilson and Antonio Cromartie with Brandon Marshall, though another wide receiver for the Dolphins (Bess or Hartline) will need to step up as the Jets will be focusing on Marshall.

The Jets’ rush defense has been tough, giving up only 101 yards on 55 carries. The Dolphins, meanwhile, have the fourth best pass defense so far, though when we adjust for opponents, I’m not sure it will be so high.  Chad Henne has been safe, but is averaging only 6.0 yards per attempt and has taken a sack on 9.3% of his dropbacks.

The Sanchize is matching him, also having no interceptions, but averaging a similar 5.8 yards per attempt and 8.9% sack rate. This game will likely be decided by who can get the decisive big plays, like Ginn’s kick returns last year.
