Lack of Institutional Control: Yahoo! Sports has a report detailing the financial transactions between agent Gary Wichard, former UNC assistant coach John Blake and suspended DT Marvin Austin. Essentially, Austin took trips provided by Wichard’s management company and has been ineligible since 2008. Blake was on Wichard’s payroll and had a company credit card. The two could face felony charges in North Carolina. UNC should vacate last season and face a slam dunk case for “lack of institutional control.” This couples with the academic scandal still under investigation. Butch Davis has to be out soon, right?
