2008 NFL Draft: As bad as the 2007 draft was for QBs, the 2008 draft was loaded with talented running backs. Darren McFadden went 4th, and he’s been very good. been good at times. Jonathan Stewart went 13th, and he’s been good. The next RB taken was Felix Jones as 22, and today, that looks like a mistake. Jones is a blur, but he’s also injury-prone. And now, for the money shot, courtesy of Jean-Jacques Taylor of the Dallas Morning News: “Seven running backs – two in the first round, two in the second round and three in the third round – were taken after Jones … among those players, Jones ranks last in yards, last in touchdowns and second to last in runs of 20 yards or more.”
