Tony Woods Leaves Wake Forest After Pleading Guilty to Assault

Swift Justice: Wake Forest will not put up with athletes who allegedly rough up their girlfriends. Tony Woods, the team’s projected center this season, has left the school following a Labor Day incident in which he is alleged to have “kicked and pushed down … the mother of [his] 1-year-old child with whom he lives.” Woods was charged with three misdemeanors and “pleaded guilty to a misdemeamor charge of assaulting a female.” His punishment was a suspended 60-day sentence. Any guesses which program opens their doors to this criminal?
