ESPN & Monday Night Football: The hubbub earlier about ESPN asking Tennessee and Jacksonville to take timeouts last night late in the blowout? Jeff Fisher now claims he was kidding. (Here’s the video, you decide.) ESPN, which presumably was inundated with inquiries on the topic, emailed out the following statement: “ESPN did not directly or indirectly ask the coaches to take a timeout during the game.” [UPDATE: Despite the ESPN statement and Fisher's smirk ... the NFL is investigating this incident.]
