World Series Ratings: The Steelers-Saints regular season NFL game on NBC topped game four of the World Series on Fox between the Giants and Rangers. The NFL drew a 11.8; MLB a 10.4. One wonders how much the World Series numbers were boosted by the Brett Favre-Patriots lead in (registered a whopping 17.0 rating). Fox is boasting that it “won the night,” which is true, but if you hear any baseball fan touting that as a victory, remind them the win was thanks to Favre. And now, the obligatory, “ratings are meaningless!” [USA Today, Hollywood Reporter]
