Noon Games: Big Ten Football, Feel the Excitement

The bipolar Wolverines travel to Purdue. Michigan lost close shootouts against the Boilermakers during Rodriguez’ first two seasons. It’s not “must win.” Opinions on the snake oil salesman are cemented. There has been no evidence as of yet Michigan is considering replacing him. If the process is in motion, beating Purdue and going 7-5 won’t save him. Rodriguez would need to upset Wisconsin or Ohio State. Still waiting to meet my first Rich Rod apologist in person.

Elsewhere, Minnesota does not want to burn any redshirts on this awful season, so they will play Illinois without a backup offensive lineman. Missouri and Kansas State are both ranked, but Nebraska would have to lose twice in their last three games to make it matter in the Big 12 North. Two of the games are against Kansas and Colorado.
