Kellen Moore (Boise State): The wind is blowing Boise State’s way again. He threw 19/26 for 216 yards and 3TDs in a thumping rout of Idaho. He feels clean. He’s heartwarmingly devoid of caveats.

LaMichael James (Oregon): However pivotal to Oregon’s offense James is, the story is the offense. Cal contained him to three yards a carry. He needs two dominant games against Arizona and in the Civil War to have a chance.

Andrew Luck (Stanford): He had another consistent performance, 33/41 for 292 yards, earning Stanford a tough road win at Arizona State. It wouldn’t be a Heisman ceremony without one pro-style quarterback. If the Cardinal keep winning, Luck is that guy.

Justin Blackmon (Oklahoma State): Not 40, but definitely a man. Blackmon’s simply unstoppable at the collegiate level. He had nine catches for 145 yards and a touchdown against a good Texas defense. He has at least five catches, 125 yards and a touchdown in every game this season.
