With all the hubbub over Jets’ strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi tripping Miami’s Nolan Carroll on the sideline Sunday – a foolish and classless act – how come nobody’s mentioned this classic Bill Belichick attempted trip of Marvin Harrison in 2004? It’s fairly obviously from Belichick’s rapid movements that he was looking to trip Harrison – the Colts wide receiver even looks back at him, almost stunned at what the coach just attempted.
