Boise State, Idaho State Freshmen Football Players Charged With Hazing That Took Place In High School

Boise State freshman Anthony Clark, Idaho State University freshman Nathan Walker along with Logan Chidester, a freshman football player at Carroll College in Montana are among 5 former high school athletes “facing a raft of sexual crime, battery and false imprisonment charges stemming from incidents at a high school in Blackfoot, Idaho.” Tyson Katseanes of Blackfoot and an unnamed minor are also charged.

Police say the five athletes forcibly penetrated fellow members of the high school basketball team and battered and restrained the victims in a locker room and on a school bus during a three-month period that began last December.

The kids were all on the basketball team when the hazing allegedly took place.

Bingham County Deputy Prosecutor Randy Smith said he will prove that the victims, all members of the boys basketball team, suffered, and some more than once.

“Hazing is an inadequate term since it wasn’t a once-and-done kind of thing but an over-and-over kind of thing, with one victim experiencing it multiple times,” he said.
