LaMichael James (Oregon): He surprised many by staying to finish his degree. James led the nation in rushing yards last year and looks poised to do so again. He will be a household name from the start of the season.

Landry Jones (Oklahoma): Jason White. Sam Bradford. Jones’ primary target Ryan Broyles is returning. He posted strong aggregate numbers this season and next season should be no different.

Kellen Moore (Boise State): Even with his two top receivers leaving, Moore should put up his customary passing efficiency numbers. The risk, however, is that his season could end September 3rd against Georgia.

Trent Richardson (Alabama): With Ingram, McElroy and Jones departing, he should be the focal point of Alabama’s offense. Since the SEC is the bestest conference in the land, they need at least one candidate.

*Taylor Martinez/Denard Robinson (Nebraska, ?) Obviously, both are capable of putting up stupendous rushing numbers, but it’s hard to put either of them on this list. Neither has shown they can stay healthy over the course of a season. We don’t know where, if or in what type of offense Denard Robinson will be playing.
