Red Sox Injuries: Perhaps taking a page from their local NFL team, the Red Sox have been very reluctant to release injury information of late. This year, the plan is to send out press releases with injury information. The question becomes how much the fans/media need to know. Belichick and the Patriots rarely reveal injury info. Why should the Red Sox? Writes Pete Abraham of the Globe, “Red Sox fans pay a lot of money to attend games or to get NESN and watch them on TV. They deserve to know what is going on and hopefully this new system will work well. Good fans are informed fans.” Agree? Disagree? [Extra Bases]
