Troy Murphy Signs With The Celtics and Heat, But Actually Just Boston

First, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! reported that Murphy has signed with the Heat. Then ESPN’s Marc Stein reported that Troy Murphy had signed with the Celtics. Then Marc Stein saw what Mar Spears had tweeted and re-reported Troy Murphy signing with Boston. B-O-S-T-O-N.

Spears later clarified his mistake by saying Murphy’s agent botched a text message to his colleague in the heat of sending text messages to multiple reporters. I’m not sure which day the parade will be scheduled, but if you’re in the Boston area, I’m sure you still have time to request the day off.
