Canadian High School Hockey Team Throws Game To Knock Rival Out of the Playoffs

Hockey Game Fixed!: The Westwood Warriors’ coaches pulled their goalie in an attempt to throw a game last Thursday against the Collège Jeanne-Sauvé Olympiens. A Westwood loss would have knocked their rival Oak Park Raiders out of the league playoffs. The league called for a tie-breaker game in an attempt to make things right. “I was really upset with what we did (Thursday),” Westwood captain Brendan Luschinski said. “It’s not really hockey, it’s not very Canadian.” I love Canada, eh.
