Pat White: Remember the former West Virginia star QB? He was once a Heisman contender and a second round draft pick, but he never turned into much of an NFL player (though, to be fair, this hit by Ike Taylor had a lot to do with it). Last fall, White decided to give baseball a shot. When Matt Cassel was stinking it up in Kansas City, jokes flew about how White was the best quarterback in the state of Missouri (clearly, Blaine Gabbert was being overlooked).
