Oklahoma Sooners: I can’t wait until all the BCS bowl figures are released and we find out who profited and who didn’t. Oklahoma, which destroyed Connecticut in a Fiesta snoozer, had a net gain of $9,350 on the game. Upon further inspection, that gain was only a result of a $1.8 million “bailout” from the Big 12. According to the Hartford Courant: “The Big 12 absorbed 10,403 tickets at $1,884,250. The school absorbed 1,530 at $337,080.” UConn lost $1.6 million, but the Big East doesn’t absorb tickets.
