Clueless Sports Editor: Tom Davis, the sports editor at the Fort Wayne News Sentinel, went to Butler University. This weekend on twitter, he tried to tell a high school basketball player who has already committed to Indiana, to attend Butler instead. Objectivity and ethics clearly don’t matter to Davis. He cared so little about the backlash that later over the weekend, he told another player on twitter that signing with Loyola (IL) wasn’t the best move for him, and that he should instead play for IPFW (which is in the Sentinel’s backyard). Keep up the good work, Tom. [Romenesko]
