The Yankee Way: Over the weekend Keith Olbermann snapped a photo of Yankees employee Brett Weber seated behind home plate flashing hand signals to players. MLB investigated it and promptly reminded them that doing such a thing is a violation of ‘baseball operations bulletin C-4’. The Yankees explained they did so in the first inning because the scoreboard was reading 912 miles per hour. Case closed, but it was not left without a quote from Brian “I don’t give a f**k” Cashman – “I kind of feel the psychotics who obsessed about it yesterday, I think we all did them a favor by keeping them off the street and preventing them from hurting others.” He then clarified that “psychotics” was in reference to members of the blogosphere.
