"“Well, the one thing, its reputation is far better than the actual building. I mean, it’s nothing. The locker rooms are horrible. The benches are horrible. There’s no room for anything. But the reputation of being in Madison Square Garden is what makes it famous. Also, our building’s a lot louder, too. So I mean, they can say what they want, but it’s not that loud in there.”"

I distinctly remember the Garden undergoing a major renovation in the early 90s because their campaign line of “Everything’s Changed But The Memories” always stuck with me. Now having said that, The Mecca is definitely due for another upgrade and that process has already begun, with the major overhaul taking place during the summers of 2011, 2012, and 2013. However, the Verizon Center is louder than Madison Square Garden during a Rangers playoff game? I find that little snippet excruciatingly difficult to believe.

Boudreau can expect an interesting evening at the Garden on Wednesday night, but I trust his meaty ears will handle it well.
