The Celtics and Predators both have huge games tonight.Vancouver has Nashville on the brink of elimination while the Celtics must win tonight or they’ll be in the same 3-0 hole that the Lakers now find themselves in. Feel free to talk about both contests here. Kevin Garnett may join you.
“We’re taking their best shot. I still don’t think we’ve played our best basketball, and we’ve got to do that. We can’t just come out here and talk about it. We’re not on the white sands of the beach [any] more. We’re back in the jungle. Hopefully that’ll do some good for us. We’ll figure it out. I told you man, we’re all in. I’ve got two pocket kings and I’m all in. Let’s do it.”
A far cry from the war metaphors he used back in 2004 before his Timberwolves beat the Kings. For what it’s worth, Garnett scored 32 points in that game. The only problem is, the Heat might be holding pocket aces. Or maybe they’ll just suck out. Stuff like that happens in poker. Kings don’t always win. Garnett learned that in 2004.
