Sarah Silverman popped into the Fox announcing booth last night to join Joe Buck and Tim McCarver for the fifth inning of the Yankees-Red Sox game, and the trio produced six minutes of awful television. Every attempt at humor fell flat. Silverman did get in an LSD line, but that’s about it. Tim McCarver sat around like a clueless third wheel. I think one of the problems here is that Joe Buck really thinks he’s funny. He’s not.
The Lions are going to have to win a lot more games.
