Remember Bobby Gonzalez? He was the perpetually-angry Seton Hall basketball coach for a few years before being forced out in 2010. You may recall his bizarre shoplifting arrest at a New Jersey mall. Bobby has a sister, Linda, who has occasionally come to his defense. (Pat Forde once called her a “media attack dog.”) In what has to register as one of the most bizarre, angry diatribes by a coach’s sister against the media, here are, according to Linda Gonzalez, “AMERICA’S TOP TEN WORST, LEAST CREDIBLE, MOST CONFLICTED SPORTWRITERS.” (The all caps are Linda’s.) If Pete Thamel of the Times ever gets hit by a car, you know where the police are going knocking.
He might lose his mind this season.
