NBA Finals Predictions Go Here

Miami’s a 4.5 favorite tonight. I like the Heat tonight (104-92), and the Heat to win the series. I’ll guess in six games. It should be noted I predicted the Blazers would beat the Mavs in round one, the Lakers would beat the Mavs in round two, the Thunder would beat the Mavs in round three, and Boston (and Chicago!) would take down the Heat.

We’ve been over the LeBron-DeShawn Stevenson feud (might as well throw in Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood, too – they were on those Wizard teams).

(Seriously, I listened to/watched that video two dozen times over the weekend. I used it to get me pumped for basketball, too.)

Here’s a matchup breakdown, if that’s your bag. I like the idea of LeBron defending Dirk at times, but I’m not so sure that’ll happen. How about LeBron’s comments on Dirk’s offensive game? High praise:

"“Probably the most unstoppable shot ever is the sky hook. I guess you put Dirk second,” James said. “You have a seven-footer fading away off one leg. There is no one that can block that shot.”‘"

I’ll be wearing my JJ Barea jersey tonight rooting for the Mavs.
