Angels 1, Nats 0 — Jordan Zimmerman experienced an unorthodox complete game in that he only recorded 24 outs.

Twins 1, Dodgers 0 — Not exactly action packed — “T. Nishioka grounded out to pitcher, B. Revere scored” — but the Twins will take a win any way it comes as they renew their journey to .500. The division leading Tigers and Indians are five games above .500, so it really wouldn’t be fair to say anyone in that division is out of it until the final week of the season.

Padres 4, Royals 1, Viewers 0 — Eric Hosmer drove in his 27th RBI of the season while Jason Lisk simultaneously shouted, “I think it moved.”

Cards 5, O’s 1 — Chris Carpenter has put together two very solid starts, so I’m guessing whoever he pitches against next will absolutely abuse him. That’s kind of been his story.

Some dude on the Pirates hit his first career home run. Try not to pick your nose while enjoying the highlight:
