The 2011 Women’s World Cup Final has arrived. It’s the United States versus Japan. Today, the Women’s National Team has a chance to capture their first World Cup since that fateful afternoon in 1999. President Obama has assured the ladies that he’ll be watching at home. If I were him, I’d find the best soccer bar in D.C., have the Secret Service clear out the best table in the joint and have a few pints. He’s earned a Sunday at the pub.
To get you properly excited, this was a week ago this afternoon.
Commence fist pumping.
