Ben Roethlisberger and fiancee Ashley Harlan are getting married this weekend at their place of worship, Christ Church at Grove Farm in Pennsylvania. It’s a rock ‘n’ roll church that the couple has been attending for about a year.
Cote said it is hard to know what Roethlisberger goes through, being such a popular sports figure, but added he and Harlan have embraced the church community.
I love the idea that Roethlisberger is a popular sports figure. It’s like Pennsylvania is a whole other country.
Roethlisberger and Harlan enjoy what is called the “Third Service,” held in Wilson Hall. It provides high-energy music and a media-driven experience.
Guitars. Power point. It’s like God is a freshman at college and he has to give a presentation in his oral communications class. I wonder if they’ll be attending Sportsman’s Night Out? It will be during the middle of training camp, but I wouldn’t miss an afternoon of “Skeet and Trap Shoot, Archery, Pistol Shoot, Pistol Display, SWAT Team and Bomb Squad Equipment Display.” This church sounds awesome.
