Getting Sweaty With Hope Solo

Hope Solo, goalie for the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team, has managed to keep her profile high following the team’s run to the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup championship game.

Despite their loss to Japan, Solo and teammates Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan have been on network TV shows, signed a deal with Bank of America and made the rounds at events such as the recent Entourage premiere party in New York.

Solo has perhaps made the most of her time in the spotlight. She appeared solo on the cover of Sports Illustrated, and now has an exclusive 15-minute workout routine on the Nike Training Club App which is now available for free at iTunes.

According to the brand, the Nike Training Club is a “full-body training app that caters to every level of fitness.”

The NTC app was developed by a Nike professional trainer, with more than 60 workouts including 90+ drills built on the fundamentals of strength-, cardio- and core-training. These multi-dimensional, multi-directional drills are formulated to create workouts that continually challenge the body to maximize results, according to Nike.

The NTC app also features a reward workout from Nike Trainer Ary Nunez that can be accessed after completing 3,000 minutes in the app through an unlock feature.
