Bruce Pearl's House - the One He Couldn't Identify to NCAA Investigators - is For Sale

Remember how the NCAA once asked Bruce Pearl about a photo of then-Tennessee coach with recruit Aaron Craft?

Pearl said he didn’t know where it was taken.

The photo was taken at Pearl’s house. That lie (essentially) got him Pearl fired. (Craft ended up at Ohio State.)

The picture was taken at Pearl’s house on Sept. 20, 2008, and served as proof of what’s usually a secondary violation; unofficial visitors aren’t allowed to have off-campus contact with members of the coaching staff.

Now the house from that infamous photo is for sale. Pearl bought the 10,000 square foot monstrosity in 2008 for $2.1 million; it is on the market right now for $2.6 million. The weight room isn’t bad. Nor is the pool. [Knox News]
