On the field: Both teams are well coached. Both teams have solid defenses. Both will be searching for the same thing: consistency from talented quarterbacks in the second year running an offense.
Prediction: Notre Dame is at home, has better talent and no longer has Mr. Decided Schematic Advantage leading the offensive. They win, but South Florida keeps it close enough to cover.
