Leo Núñez is the 28-year-old closer for the Florida Marlins. Or he’s not. Núñez may actually be a 29-year-old named Juan Carlos Oviedo. Either way, the Marlins have suspended Núñez for the remainder of the season after he landed on Major League Baseball’s restricted list because of some missing paperwork having to do with his immigration status. Núñez, who has a career high 36 saves this season, headed back to the Dominican Republic today while the Marlins went to Milwaukee. This story should be interesting.
