Jonathan Brown, a sophomore linebacker, was hit with a 1-game suspension by Illinois this morning for delivering this cheap shot Saturday to Northwestern’s Patrick Ward. You could tell Illini coach Ron Zook was going to react strongly; this is what he told the media Saturday: “I guarantee you will never see that again.
