Albert Pujols Wishes MLB Would Give Teams Besides the Yankees a Prime-Time Slot

Albert Pujols is annoyed with mid-afternoon baseball (the shadows, no!!!) in the postseason when the Yankees get to play in Prime Time. So Pujols popped off a bit after the Phillies won game three Tuesday:

“We can’t do anything about it. We’ve been talking all year long, there is nothing we can do about it. Maybe if we were the New York Yankees maybe we would have played an 8:00 game today. It is what it is. I just don’t understand when we play a 4:00 game the league knows we have tough shadows out there, but there’s nothing you can do. They’re making their money, their paying their money. I guess they put the game time however they want it.”

Can’t wait for the Phillies to knock whiny Pujols and annoying Tony LaRussa out of the postseason. For those of you who care about MLB ratings, TBS sent out an email with the following “metered market” ratings from Tuesday’s games: Yankees/Tigers, 5.2; Phillies/Cardinals 3.8, Rangers/Rays 1.9, Brewers/Diamondbacks 1.3.

Because you want to see it first!
