Manchester City's Mario Balotelli Plays With Fireworks, Sets House on Fire.

Here is yet another case of Mario being Mario. Mercurial and incredibly talented Manchester City Striker Mario Balotelli again displayed his childlike charm. This time, he set his own house on fire. He and his friends were launching fireworks out a bathroom window. Predictably, one of them misfired and set the towels and subsequently his house on fire. Police were called to keep Balotelli from running back into the house to grab belongings. No one was harmed.

The 21-year-old had just earned praise for a “big improvement” in his attitude, and had scored four goals in his last four appearances. The English media will be incredulous that he was up to shenanigans just 36 hours before the Manchester Derby. Hard not to love a guy who gave $1500 to a homeless man outside a casino and travelled to a kid’s school to confront a bully. Easy not to love a guy who threw darts at youth players, because he was bored.
