"Asked Wednesday if he feels wanted, Samuel said: “By Andy. Couple people upstairs might not want me, but who cares? They’ve probably never played football … Asked to clarify if he was referring to Roseman and Banner, Samuel said: “Howie and Joe? I don’t know, do they fit the comment I made? There ya go. You think they’re upstairs playing fantasy football with the owner’s money?” … But when they made the call to me and said they were trying to trade me, that’s when it went bad. I know it’s not a rumor, I know it’s a fact … They called me. They called me and my agent. Talked to both of us.”"

How about that. A guy making $5.9 million this year, $8.4 million next year and $10.4 million in 2013 is popping off days before a crucial game against a division rival. (Counterpoint: But Andy Reid is 12-0 coming out of a bye week! I’m loving Dallas +3.5. The Cowboys, through six games, are the better team.)

If the Eagles fall to 2-5 and the Giants beat lowly Miami, Philly will be three games back in the division with eight games left. That’s nearly insurmountable, especially when you take into account the schedule. Can the Eagles beat the Giants (lost first meeting, 29-16; Vick did get hurt in that one), Patriots, Jets and win in Dallas?

The Cowboys, who probably will win the division, have a considerably easier schedule the rest of the way.

Team Romo.
