"A Maryland-based sports agent and a youth basketball power broker conspired to foster a relationship with NBA player Michael Beasley from the time Beasley was 14 years old with the intent of securing the rights to represent him professionally, according to a civil suit filed by Beasley in Montgomery County Circuit Court."

A runner, an agent, Beasley’s mom, rent-paying … I could go on and on, but you should just read it yourself. The most interesting part? As Gary Parrish notes, three of the top four recruits from the class of 2007 have now been connected to some type of dirty recruiting: Derrick Rose’s SAT, OJ Mayo’s under-the-table payments, and now Beasley.
