Being Kirk Morrison Is Pretty Sweet

From the Regina Leader-Post comes the story of a local man named Kirk Morrison who got just that. When NFL linebacker Kirk Morrison moved from Oakland to Buffalo this year, he wanted to change his twitter handle from @KirkMorrison55 to just @KirkMorrison because of a number switch and the team switch.

One problem: a 20-year old student in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada already had that twitter identification. The linebacker worked out a swap with his namesake to make the switch, and in exchange, the other Kirk Morrison got a trip with his brother to Buffalo this past weekend. It started with a Sabres-Flames game on Friday night, then included meeting Morrison at the Buffalo team hotel, tailgating with Jim Kelly, and getting on the field for pre-game warmups before the Jets-Bills game.

"Back to reality, I guess. I have classes (Monday) afternoon that I need to be at. But we’re already talking about going back. We had such a great time, met so many amazing people and made a new friend in (Kirk Morrison). We’re definitely going back … we’re Bills fans for life."
