In San Francisco, the 7-1 49ers host the 6-2 New York Giants, who will be without Ahmad Bradshaw but will have Hakeem Nicks back. The Giants are coming off the win at New England and can make a big statement with another road win against a playoff contender. The 49ers can keep within distance of the Packers and stay on track for a first round bye with another big win.

In Chicago, the Lions and Bears return to the scene of last year’s controversial game. Earlier this year, the Bears controlled much of the first half action, but the Lions got big plays in the running game from Jahvid Best to pull away. The Lions won’t have Best today, and the Bears are playing better in recent weeks.

The final game of the afternoon is Baltimore traveling cross country to Seattle. This game is all about which Ravens’ team shows up offensively, as the Baltimore defense should be able to contain Marshawn Lynch and Tarvaris Jackson.
