Coach K Goes For the All-Time Wins Record, Followed by Kansas -Kentucky Tonight

All college basketball all day on ESPN, and a full day that has seen West Virginia lose to Kent State and Memphis beat Belmont will now conclude with a potentially historic evening. Duke survived against Belmont last week, then got the tying victory for Coach K on Saturday against Presbyterian. If Duke beats Michigan State tonight, Coach K surpasses Bob Knight for most victories all-time at 903 wins.

Michigan State goes from a loss at the hands of #1 North Carolina aboard an aircraft carrier to another tough matchup in Madison Square Garden against Duke.

That game will be followed by UK versus KU, in a bragging rights battle to be the best K-school. Kentucky enters with their talented, deep young squad with returners Doron Lamb and Terrence Jones along with the best freshman in the country, Anthony Davis. Forward Thomas Robinson was one of the most underrated players in college basketball last year, but will be the focal point for a Jayhawks’ team that lost a lot of players. He’ll need to stay out of foul trouble and use his experience against Davis and Jones inside.
