New Mexico's Next Football Coach is . . . Bob Davie?

You might recall that head coach Mike Locksley was fired in September after disappointing on the field results and then this incident involving a former high school player getting a DUI in Locksley’s car. The Lobos haven’t been to a bowl game since 2007, went 1-11 in each of the previous two seasons with Locksley, and are 1-9 so far this year. I guess there is no place to go but up, but going with a guy who has been out of coaching for a decade is an interesting choice.
