"Police said the victim told them that McClain, now a linebacker with the NFL’s Oakland Raiders, put a pistol to his head while he was lying on the ground, and fired a shot next to his ear after he begged McClain not to shoot him. McClain, 22, was charged with third-degree assault, menacing, reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm inside the city limits, all of which are misdemeanors, police said. He was in Decatur City Jail this afternoon on bonds totaling $2,000. The victim, whose name was not released, told police that he got into a fight with Willingham Wednesday night. The victim told police who had responded to the call that he crawled to his car after the fight. He said that when he reached his car McClain put a gun to his head while he was lying on the ground, police said."
