Georges St. Pierre Blew Out His ACL: Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz Will Fight For Interim Title

Well, forget all that shit. Georges St. Pierre blew out his ACL and he’s going under the knife. Apparently, the only thing that can stop GSP – besides Matt Serra – is a knee injury. Diaz and Condit, will both get their title fights. Instead of GSP, they’ll fight each other and for a short time in 2012, someone besides Georges St. Pierre will be the UFC Welterweight Champion – interim or otherwise.

For those of you keeping score at home, seeing GSP fight multiple times in 2012 was a long shot – with or without injury. He had defended his title twice in 2008, 2009 and 2010. This year he fought Jake Shields in April.
