"Former Michigan State Spartan and Flint native Charlie Bell spent hours in custody Thursday after showing up to court legally drunk for a hearing on his drunken driving case. Bell, now 32 and with the Golden State Warriors, was arrested in Flint Township Oct. 21 for drunken driving, driving on a suspended license and failing to stop at a stop sign. That case was set to be resolved Thursday morning, in Genesee County’s 67th District Court, until Bell blew a reported .09 during a pre-scheduled alcohol assessment. The legal limit is .08."

Bell, 32, played 19 games last year with the Warriors, and he’s slated to make $4 million with the team this year. [ABC 12 via Guyism]
