More NBA Moves: Glen Davis Traded To Orlando, Gilbert Arenas Waived, Rip Hamilton Gets Bought Out

Glen “Big Baby” Davis has been traded to the Orlando Magic. In return, the Celtics will receive Brandon Bass. In addition to the Davis trade, the Magic have also waived Gilbert Arenas. Orlando will use the amnesty clause against Arenas’ now-ludicrous $111 million deal which has three years and $62 million remaining.

Finally, Richard Hamilton has been bought out by the Detroit Pistons. Hamilton was such a big part of Detroit’s 6 consecutive trips to the Eastern Conference Finals, that you almost forget he ever played anywhere else. Hamilton won a championship with the Pistons in the 2003 – 2004 season.
