Unranked Indiana Drops a Three-Pointer at the Buzzer to Beat No. 1 Kentucky

Indiana’s Christian Watford just hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to take down No. 1 Kentucky 73-72. Ridiculous scene in Bloomington. Kudos to Dan Schulman and Dick Vitale for going silent — yes, a few shouts of “unbelievable” from Dicky V but it could have been far worse — as a sea of insanity swarmed the court. Had Kentucky hit its free throws perhaps they’d be smiling right now.

Now at 9-0, this is the Hoosiers best start in more than 20 years.
