Sam Hurd's Arrest Probably Has a Dozen (or more) NFL Players Very Nervous Right Now

Sam Hurd, the Bears’ receiver who was arrested by federal agents today when he allegedly tried to acquire 5-10 kilos of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana – PER WEEK – with the intent to distribute, was apparently one of the “top few” drug dealers in the city of Chicago, a drug enforcement officer told 670 the Score.

The radio station is also hearing that officials have acquired a list of NFL players who got their drugs from Hurd, and it’s in the “double digits.”

Yikes. That’s terrifying news for the league, and presumably, anyone who played on the Bears and Cowboys, since those are the people he likely knows best. Hurd, who is from San Antonio, played at Northern Illinois.
